Welcome to Null Autos
Null Autos is a cloud platform for building, testing, and shipping Android Automotive software. It brings the whole vehicle-software workflow into one place: source, builds, virtual devices, remote development, and automated testing, running on cloud infrastructure that scales with your team.
If you build in-vehicle infotainment (IVI), digital clusters, or any Android Automotive OS (AAOS) application, Null Autos gives you the compute, the virtual devices, and the developer tools to move faster without managing hardware.
What you can do
- Run Android Automotive emulators in your browser. Launch a high-fidelity
virtual device in the cloud, see the screen, touch it, run
adb, and drive the vehicle hardware (VHAL) from a browser tab. No local emulator and no specialized laptop required. - Build AAOS faster with on-demand compute. Run large AOSP builds on cloud nodes and restore build state from snapshots so jobs start warm instead of cold.
- Develop in the cloud. Spin up a browser-based workspace pre-loaded with Null Autos tooling.
- Automate everything. Drive the platform from CI/CD, the
nullctlCLI, or the REST API.
How it fits together
The control plane is the core of the platform. Whether you click in the
portal, type a nullctl command, or call the API from a pipeline, the request
goes to the control plane, which provisions emulators, manages snapshots,
enforces permissions, and streams logs and device video back to you.
